Ohh...I miss Dizzy. But he does look happy being a Maine dog!

Dizzy is happy wherever he goes... but he misses you too! And he especially misses Quinn!

Hi Dizzy! BTW, how'd Dizzy get his name?

Dizzy by name, dizzy by nature... I got Dizzy when he was not quite six months old, from neighbors of my friend Ann Marie's. They had found him by the side of a highway, where he had fallen or been thrown from a moving vehicle. Those people called him "Buddy," which had to change.
All of my Los Angeles-based cousins had dogs whose names began with "D," so I considered Dot (because of the spots) -- then Dash -- then Dizzy, which just seemed to fit him. Depending on my mood it is a tribute to Dizzy Gillespie, Dizzy Dean, or Lenin's warning against being dizzy with success.

From Susan,

Yay! A picture! I want to see lots more. Show your apartment, Main Street, the river.
