Dizzy by name, dizzy by nature... I got Dizzy when he was not quite six months old, from neighbors of my friend Ann Marie's. They had found him by the side of a highway, where he had fallen or been thrown from a moving vehicle. Those people called him "Buddy," which had to change. All of my Los Angeles-based cousins had dogs whose names began with "D," so I considered Dot (because of the spots) -- then Dash -- then Dizzy, which just seemed to fit him. Depending on my mood it is a tribute to Dizzy Gillespie, Dizzy Dean, or Lenin's warning against being dizzy with success.

Ohh...I miss Dizzy. But he does look happy being a Maine dog!
Dizzy is happy wherever he goes... but he misses you too! And he especially misses Quinn!
Hi Dizzy! BTW, how'd Dizzy get his name?

From Susan,
Yay! A picture! I want to see lots more. Show your apartment, Main Street, the river.
